Gina Nigro, IBCLC

Gina Nigro - Consultora en lactancia - IBCLC

My goal is to support mothers to have a positive experience in their first days, weeks, or months of breastfeeding.

I have been dedicated to helping breastfeeding families all over the world for more than 25 years.

Like many with a newborn baby in their arms, I underestimated the overwhelming difficulties that I encountered once the baby was born. I expected breastfeeding would be natural and wonderful.

We start out imagining an ideal motherhood.

But I was not prepared for so many doubts, the intense worry about my baby, and especially not the conflicting information from doctors, nurses, family and friends.

I am here to help if you are struggling with any of the following:

  • Pain
  • Baby not latching
  • Engorgement
  • Low milk supply
  • Baby never satisfied
  • Baby not gaining enough
  • Concerns about tongue tie, lip tie, buccal ties, retrognatia
  • How and when to supplement
  • Mastitis
  • Plugged ducts
  • Weaning
  • Pregnant and breastfeeding
  • Tandem feeding
  • Back to work
